Uses

Bored? Something exciting to do with your thumb.

Sometimes you do not need a task. You need something for your hands and your senses that feels good and does not turn into an hour of scrolling. Touchward is a button that buzzes back, and it is more satisfying than it has any right to be.

A button that buzzes back

Tap it and it vibrates, in a pattern you chose, while a ring of light ripples outward. Hold it and a timer traces the button's outline, then a bigger buzz. On phones with a rich haptic motor, the unlock adds over 150 haptic presets: a heartbeat, a purr, a bass drop, an anvil, applause. Some are calming. Some are a jolt. All of them are one tap away.

Neon that reacts to you

Every tap sends a ripple. Pick the ripple's outline, thickness, how long it lingers, and how many can stack, and a few taps in a row build layered glowing rings. Random builds a whole new look in one press. It is a small light show that only happens when you touch it.

No feed, no ads, no rabbit hole

Touchward has nothing to scroll. There is no content, no notifications you did not ask for, and no ads. When you put it down, it is over. That makes it a safe thing to reach for when you are bored and do not want to lose the evening.

And when you are not bored

The same button is a reward for finishing things. Tap it when you did the thing, and the buzz means something. Reminders can prompt you at the times you choose. The stimulation and the reward are the same gesture.

Free to download. Unlock everything for 1.99, once.
